Mike has been a licensed realtor in Texas since he was a 19 years old and he began his real estate career selling and leasing condominiums while attending the University of Texas at Austin. During his Junior year he participated in a study abroad program in Costa Rica, where he fell in love with the country and its people. Through connections with Stewart Title in Houston Michael was introduced to the Los Suenos development team and was offered a job in sales.
Five days after graduating from UT with a degree in Public Relations, he made a monumental road trip through Mexico and Central America. Mike started working for Los Suenos in 1998 when the 1,100 acre Los Suenos Resort & Marina was simply a cattle ranch. Things moved quickly after that and soon he found himself selling for one of the finest resorts in Latin America and the Caribbean. After ten years of working for Los Suenos Mike founded Hardy Real Estate Group (HRG). Not only does Mike live within the resort but he is an owner of multiple properties within Los Suenos and the Central Pacific region including a single family home, condominiums, and large development tracts outside the property.

General Manager & CFO: Dina Petersen
Dina was born in Costa Rica and spent a good portion of her life raised in San Francisco, CA working in property management & accounting. She moved back to Costa Rica in 1992 to work for Los Suenos Resort & Marina where she worked hand in hand with the President and CFO of Los Suenos putting together the original development plans for the entire resort. She has over 30 years of experience in financing, accounting, operations and property management. It is with this experience she runs both HRG’s property management department and the accounting department.
Vice President of Reservations: Evelyn Espinosa
Originally from Panama Evelyn moved to Costa Rica nine years ago and since her arrival she has been working in vacation rentals in Los Sueños Resort. She was a founding manager of the first rental company in Los Sueños and has extensive knowledge of the resort and the Central Pacific Zone. She is an invaluable asset to the team and Evelyn has a wonderful repertoire with each and every rental property owner in HRG’s program and uses her extensive expertise to market and attract clients from around the globe. Evelyn is an integral part of the reservation and property management team.
Customer Service: Daniel Petersen
A local, Daniel grew up in Costa Rica working in the tourism industry as a guide, he is fully certified, and has ample experience in kayak, rock climbing, canopy, and mountain tours; he knows the Country better than anyone around. Before moving over to HRG, Daniel worked for himself as an entertainment Tour guide putting together many unforgettable packages for new and repeat clients who made their way down to the Tropics. His knowledge of restaurants, bars and tour activities in and around the area has been most helpful to those who visit Costa Rica for the first time. Every client who uses Daniel’s expertise and services leaves with an incredible experience along with some great memories of Costa Rica. As head of HRG’s Customer Service Program, Daniel continues forward with the same attention to service as he did for over six years with his own business.
Real Estate and Loans Division: Lee Dickson
Lee is a licensed Realtor is Seattle, Washington, with mainly a focus on commercial properties and land. His time spent down here in Costa Rica, off and on for the last 12 years allows him great familiarity with the country, lifestyle and people. Working on large contracts with builders, developers and asset groups gives him the experience to assist and write contracts for tourists, locals and guests while guiding Buyers and Sellers throughout the contract process to completion. Living onsite at Los Suenos also gives him expertise on the Resort and its many amenities.
